The photo I’ve chosen for this month is of Stedman’s Garage. The Stedman’s Garage building is now Lorrimer’s Furniture (next to the R.S.L. Club) in Campbell Street. This image was taken by the Department of Defence circa 1945.
The photos I’ve chosen for this month are of “The Attic” Frock Salon which was located in Cherry Street. Previously Cliff Dornbusch Engineering, the shed later became a video and general store and is now the Lifelife op-shop (2015). These images were taken circa 1980 by the Department of Defence.
