Photo of the Week – Hay look at this!

The photo I’ve chosen for this month is the silo built on “The Towers”, Crosshill taken in 1963. Originally designed to hold loose hay. Lined inside with flat iron, wood and steel bands outside on 45 poles approximately 2 feet (60cm) apart and 35 feet (10.5m) high. Silo blew down in 1964 during a wind storm.
