ANZAC Commemoration

Well everything has come together finally. The special “Lest We Forget” 100 years ANZAC commemoration project I’ve been working on with the Oakey Historical Museum Society is ready to go. We’ve been overwhelmed by the support for the local (and not so local) community. When we started this project it was just going to be a little get together at the museum on ANZAC Day to commemorate the local families that had service personnel in WWI. It turned out bigger than Ben-hur with over 100 people letting us know that they would like to attend.

Below are a couple of posters created for the commemorative display and the commemorative handout for the event/display. Handouts are available at the Oakey Historical Museum and the Oakey Library.
